Mopeds make me broke in many ways, but give me the inspiration to fix anything & blast it until it breaks down again.

Where Y'at?...

I've been busy living the life of tuning, rebuilding, upgrading others peoples peds, while trying to tune a 19mm PHBG carb on my stock PA50II ported cylinder (just 4 fun). With this setup, it was running inconsistently and didn't get me past 38mph.  It seemed way overcarbed for my mild 50cc port job...So, I fixed the leak on the stock carb, and now It's running smooth and get's near 40mph. Stocker Rocker for sure!

I went to the Dead Peds rally in Nashville and rode the famous Natchez Trace parkway for over 60 miles that weekend. I picked up a Maxi project rollin chassis for $30, and I'm selling off some old part & projects to fund new ones.

I'm moving north soon, but I'm in no rush at all. I don't want to be see any snow or deal with freezing temps. I'll be stopping along the way to visit random friends that I've met thru the moped community. It's nice to be connected with other passionite mopeders across the USA. Trading parts, peds, and knowledge is what's up.

Welcome to the Southern paradise NOLA!

I'm visiting New Orleans for awhile during the winter. I've been enjoying the nice weather here & hanging out in an Airstream trailer near some Rusty Pelican Art.

Besides the potholes, New Orleans is set up nice for mopeding. Most of the streets are flat, and the scenery is always random...  I've been riding my peds a lot. I've met the local moped group MONO, & we get together a few times a week to ride.

I took this photo @ City Park while visiting the art museum.

I'll try to keep this blog updated, I'm just living the life for now.
